  • FLIPP Executive Functioning PDStrategies to Improve Executive Function: A Foundation for Success - This series supports you in supporting your learners who may lack of appropriate executive function (EF) skills—which includes the ability to switch between topics and activities, initiate action, cope with change, make choices, plan and organize, manage time, inhibit impulses, regulate emotions, and solve problems—make reaching high expectations difficult.  In these sessions, you will gain an understanding of how deficits in executive function affect a student’s learning and behavior and discover how to incorporate numerous evidence-based strategies into school settings that build competent EF skills and provide a foundation for learning and thriving in all environments.
  • Google Classroom Webinars - EUSD Professional Development includes web based resources that are available on demand.  The resources provide opportunities for all EUSD teachers.  Topic areas include: Classroom Environment and Culture, Engagement, Purpose, Curriculum & Pedagogy, Assessment for Student Learning and Special Education. (K-12, edWeb, Corwin, Teaching Strategies, and Learning for Justice)  *Join Google Class- c5a6wyh for access.
  • NETs ONLY - Independent Book Study Asynchronous PD Option - Engage in a book study of your choice to support your professional growth. Earn up to 5 hours of PD credit to use towards University and/or Differentiation credit. | LINK to a forced copy of the PD document (be sure to rename the copy and move to your NETs folder) | LINK to optional book checkout list (Discuss other book options with your mentor.)

Purposeful Professional Growth based on your ILP Goals - 6.2 Engage in continuous and purposeful professional growth & development and focus on improving student learning.Heather will lead participants in creating an independent professional growth plan based on your ILP Goals. For each PLN date, you will be able to participate in differentiated learning including, but not limited to:
  1. Independent or collaborative book study
  2. Viewing webinars and reflecting on your practice
  3. Creating engaging long-term units of study that focus on personalized learning for your students - Colleague Observation
All who choose this option will document your professional growth on your ILP.
